Frequently Asked Questions
-
How do you handle Intensive Declutter projects?
This service is intended for rooms that feel overwhelming or unusable, and it is not clinical de-hoarding. We work in small, manageable sections, set clear keep, donate, and discard zones, and restore function at the end of each visit. Most projects of this type require more than one session, and I will give a time estimate after the consultation.
-
Do you handle cleaning too?
Light cleaning is included — dusting, wiping shelves, sweeping or vacuuming under moved furniture. For deeper or full-home cleaning, I’m happy to recommend a local professional.
-
Do you bring organizing products?
We start with what you already own. If additional containers or shelving would help, I can purchase items at cost with your approval or send links for you to order directly. Returns follow the store’s policy, and I can assist if I handled the purchase.
-
What if I feel embarrassed about my space?
That’s one of the most common things people say before we start, and it’s completely okay. My role is never to judge; it’s to help your space feel less overwhelming and more functional. I bring a calm, steady approach so we can focus on what will work for you moving forward, while identifying what hasn’t been working before.
-
How are donations handled?
I load and drop off one standard car load per session and share a donation receipt when the receiving organization provides one. For large items or multiple loads, I recommend local pickup or hauling options.
-
Do I need to be home?
For the first session, yes, so we can do a 10–15 minute walkthrough and confirm your goals. After that, you may be home or out. I can work independently with agreed access and I send a start and end check-in by text.
-
What payment methods do you accept, and when is payment due?
I accept all major credit and debit cards, Venmo, cash, and checks. Payment is collected at the start of our appointment, and a receipt is provided for every payment.

Will you take photos?
Only with written permission. Any images used for marketing or a portfolio are edited to remove personal or identifying details.
